John Hanly & Company is a traditional Irish weaving company and makers of 100% Irish designed woven scarves, throws and fabrics.
A true family business, the company is 125 years old; rich in tradition but contemporary in design and creativity. Each wool, cashmere, lambswool, mohair and natural fibre piece is testament to the mill’s craftsmanship and quality.
While a large sector of the mill’s business is commercial/trade clients – both locally and abroad – the client wanted their new website to include an online shop for consumers across the globe.

our solution
We designed and developed two e-commerce websites – one to serve retailers worldwide and a separate site for consumers.
Both sites entailed some degree of technical complexity in development. The result was two full e-commerce sites that allowed for easy viewing and ordering of the mill’s vast range of products. Simplicity was key – making buying online as straightforward as possible for both trade and consumers.
